They need space to breathe, room for people to move, natural surroundings and an environment that allows the gathering itself to become part of the experience.
Events & Land gives families, private groups, facilitators, practitioners, organisations and other aligned hosts the opportunity to bring their own gathering into the Awaken Sanctuary environment.
Awaken Sanctuary offers a combination of mature trees, gardens, open land, walking areas and outdoor spaces within a natural setting.
Depending on the agreed use, your event may also have access to outdoor kitchens and cooking spaces, the Sanctuary kitchen, the Sanctuary living room and a camping environment.
The specific spaces available are determined by the nature, size and requirements of your gathering.
Events & Land is not a pre-designed retreat or facilitated Awaken programme.
You bring the purpose of your gathering and the people you are bringing together. The land provides the setting.
This may be a private family gathering, celebration, workshop, small group event, practitioner-led experience, organisational gathering or another activity that is aligned with the environment and values of Awaken.
The environment can support gatherings that benefit from time outdoors, shared meals, cooking, conversation, movement, reflection and connection with nature.
The land is intentionally not presented as a conventional event venue. Its character is part of what makes the setting useful: open space, natural surroundings, simplicity and the opportunity to create a gathering around the environment rather than simply placing an event inside a building.
Events & Land provides access to the agreed environment and facilities. Event organisers remain responsible for their own event-specific requirements, including catering, camping equipment, specialist equipment, suppliers, setup and other operational needs unless otherwise agreed.
This keeps the offer clear: Awaken provides the environment; you remain responsible for producing your event.
Accommodation is not automatically included with Events & Land hire.
The only residential accommodation Awaken can offer for event organisers or guests is the same accommodation available through Awaken Residency, subject to availability and arranged separately.
The land hire should therefore not be understood as providing additional event accommodation or a dedicated accommodation inventory.
Events & Land may suit families wanting to gather somewhere different, friends planning a private occasion, practitioners bringing a workshop or experience to a natural environment, organisations and event planners looking for an alternative setting, or facilitators seeking space for an aligned small-group event.
The common thread is a desire to bring people together within an environment that offers more space, nature and simplicity than a conventional venue.
If you are not simply looking for a venue but want Awaken to design or facilitate the transformational experience itself, that is a different engagement.
You may instead be looking for an Awaken Experience, Private Retreat, Group Retreat or a commissioned engagement through the Healing Systems Architect & Facilitator pathway.

Depending on your event, access may include outdoor event areas, outdoor kitchens and cooking spaces, the Sanctuary kitchen, the Sanctuary living room and camping areas.
Yes. Event organisers are responsible for their own event-specific equipment, camping requirements, suppliers and operational arrangements unless otherwise agreed.
No. Accommodation is separate from land hire. The only accommodation available through Awaken is the existing accommodation offered through Awaken Residency, subject to availability.
Potentially. If you require Awaken to design or facilitate the experience itself, we can determine the appropriate Awaken pathway during consultation. This is separate from basic Events & Land hire.
Events & Land does not include a separate large-group accommodation facility. Any available residential accommodation is the same accommodation offered through Awaken Residency and must be arranged separately.
