Oracle Function and Sacred Blood Medicine: The oracle function — the capacity to read ancestral fields, living beings across distances, and lineage patterns with verifiable accuracy — is the primary diagnostic instrument of the work. Combined with the Sacred Blood Medicine framework, it allows the work to begin at the level of what is actually present in the lineage field rather than what is presented on the surface.

Awaken Sanctuary for Awareness was founded by Vuyiswa Kayembe — initiated shaman, oracle, African Death and Rebirth Doula, and Sacred Blood Medicine practitioner. She is the only sanctuary founder in the world who has died clinically and returned — and built her work from the inside of that terrain.
Her work sits at a precise and uncontested intersection — the rigour of neuroscience and trauma psychology, and the living intelligence of African ancestral healing systems that have guided human transformation for thousands of years. These are not frameworks she has combined from the outside. They are the two languages she thinks in simultaneously.
Her practice holds: nervous system regulation and polyvagal-informed somatic approaches — trauma integration through African indigenous and shamanic frameworks — oracle function and ancestral field diagnostics — sacred plant medicine facilitation with full preparation and integration — and initiatory psychology through the Sacred Blood Medicine framework.
